Divorced 10 months and 17 days. Why do I have more anger these days than 9 months ago? Why is it that I am not even close to saying ‘Yes’ to a dinner invitation from another man? I’ve thought this through from every angle possible. I make no sense to other people, I know.
One day you’re gonna realize all that you’ve done. You’re gonna realize what a monster you are. You’re gonna get hurt and remember how it feels for the rest of your life. You’re gonna discover that when you only focus on yourself, all you are left with is yourself. Someday you’ll realize all that you’ve lost. When this happens, I’ll be gone. Because I realized it a long time ago.
I know my fair share of annoying people that know everything, but it really is the Assume-it-alls that I have to part ways with. Specifically, the attitude of paying attention to all things so much that your perception to your own being and the inner functions of all other personality types makes you “AWARE.” In this awareness that you have, you assume people’s motives, passions, insecurities, and flaws. Everything is ultimately about WHY people function and WHY they act a fool and how you would have the perfect advice to give. Always assuming that you were only told 85% of the real story and HAVING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS LEFT OUT based on your aware of their inner core. Assuming pieces of puzzles you are not entitled to know or were not even there to begin with. There is no conceding to being wrong. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be friends with that? The god-damned work involved is tiresome to say the least. Every conversation, every play date is a game of mental chess. It’s no longer your company I enjoy but now the silence between us. I would rather of had a know-it-all friend because they are content with their own knowledge. Assume-it-alls are seekers who can destroy everything in their pursuit.
I’m making these tea bag cookies the next time I have the ladies over. Love them! From Frost Me.
OMG I love these. What a simple and fantastic idea.

Exactly how I feel about the woods. Yosemite was a terrible night’s sleep. What a wonderful memory.
